Strategic Alliance

In San Silvestre we believe that parents are our strategic partners in the education of their children; therefore we promote a close relationship between staff and parents.

In addition to appointments with the Headmistress, Heads of Section, Year Co-ordinators, teaching staff or psychologists, parents may use the channel of the Parents’ Association for general areas of concern, taking into account that specific issues relating to their daughter should be dealt with in an individual manner with the relevant members of staff.

The Parents’ Association (APAFA) has always been supportive in organising activities for the school, the funds of which have been used to improve the infrastructure and equipment. It is thanks to the Association’s interest and commitment that the Sports Complex, Art Centre and the LRC were built, among many other projects.

The APAFA are elected by San Silvestre parents and may occupy their post for 3 years after which new elections are held.
