EARLY YEARS

The modern facilities in the Early Years Section consist of Nursery, Pre-School, Reception and Grade One classrooms, all of which are fully equipped with its own auditorium, gymnasium, music room, library, I.T lab as well as art, science and psychomotor areas. Facilities also include a dining room and a purpose-built kitchen which provides a range of nutritious school lunches for all three sections.

PRIMARY SECTION

English, Spanish and Maths classes take place in the main classrooms. In addition, there are I.T labs, a music room, a Science laboratory. Art classes are held in the Art Centre in the Secondary building. The Primary Section has a state of the art Learning Resource Centre for investigation work and with modern library facilities, including I-pads, chromebooks, laptops, as well as Kindles and a huge variety of books in both Spanish and English. A new building will be inaugurated in 2020 which aim to further improve our facilities.

SECONDARY SECTION

The Secondary Section is a modern building. In addition to the regular classrooms, there are four I.T labs, two staff computer rooms, a soundproof music room, six modern Science laboratories, a library, an auditorium with a stage and projection facilities, a storage room for books, a printing room, a kitchen, an office for the audio-visual technician and a photographic room. All rooms are equipped with projectors and facilities for mobile smartboard and laptops use. Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) from Form II up, makes good use of the excellent band width provision.

TECHNOLOGY

State-of-the-art computers, I-pads, chromebooks and notebooks equipped with a range of software form part of the facilities, even for the youngest pupils, thus ensuring that all girls have access to contemporary technology which facilitates learning. In addition to its computer laboratories, the school also has mobile laptops and an excellent wireless network, so that pupils can access the Internet from any part of the building.

ART CENTRE

The Art Centre contains three large studios, a room for pottery and sculpture and a large exhibition hall.

SPORTS AREAS

The Topy Conroy Sports Complex contains a multi-purpose court (basketball/ volleyball/ badminton) with the capacity for 800 spectators, 2 aerobics rooms, a gymnasium and a 25 metres heated swimming pool which is used all year round. There are also two outdoor basketball and volleyball courts and a playing field. These areas are shared by Primary and Secondary pupils. In addition students are transported to other sporting facilities which therefore increase the number and range of sports offered.

ADMINISTRATION

The administration office is currently situated in a separate house located near the main school building.
